INTERNAL DIVISIONS
What are Internal Divisions?
It is a fixed glazing system for applications in internal spaces with aluminum perimeter frames that allows the incorporation of one or two glass skins and a duct for electrical and data wiring systems, also complemented with hinged doors with aluminum frame or tempered glass with accessories. With acoustic reduction values under ASTM E336-16 standard.

System Applications Internal Divisions:
Internal partitioning systems are currently widely used in office applications, lobbies, IT rooms, receptions, meeting rooms, clean rooms, hospitals, clinics, industry, production rooms, laboratories, classrooms, libraries, canteens, but not only in them. They are systems that provide aesthetics, light and acoustic control.

One “X” Leaf with Hinged Door with Threshold.
One “X” Leaf with Hinged Door without Threshold.

Two “OX” Sheets with Duct.

Two “OO” Sheets with one skin.

Applications System Ducts Internal Divisions:
It is a system that has ducts that allows the passage of electrical and data wiring as well as any other required element, which consists of 2 profiles, the EX2939 duct and the EX2940 cover making it a registrable system.
In addition to this, the EX200 profile allows the duct to be compartmentalized if required by regulations. Due to the dimensions of the duct, it allows the placement of sockets, switches and devices such as access controls inside the duct.

Noise Control
The system has very particular characteristics, where its glass application has an acoustic reduction of 30 dB up to 42 dB, depending on the configuration:
NOTE: The tests for these assemblies were performed in EXTRALUM’s acoustic control test room, under the ASTM E336-16th standard: “Standard Test Method for Measurement of Airborne Sound Attenuation between Rooms in Buildings”: for the measurement of airborne sound attenuation between enclosures within a building. Specific test reports for each of the tests are available upon request.

It has polycarbonate adhesive seals that eliminate the use of silicone in bone joints and speed up the installation process.
The system allows an acoustic reduction of 30 dB up to 42 dB under specific installation conditions.
It allows the use of Vilax laminated glass with the application of translucent or solid colors.
It is used in safety glass applications for the well-being and safety of its users.
It features a unique packaging design for any type of glass thickness.
Glasses that can be used:
FUERTEX® safety glass in thicknesses: 10 and 12 mm.
VILAX® laminated glass: 55.1 mm and 66.1 mm.
