ZOCALO FACADE SYSTEM
Design and Functionality
The skirting system is a system composed of aluminum (extruded by Extralum) and Fuertex tempered glass, used in both residential and commercial applications.
VISUAL QUALITY
Clear views from the comfort of light-filled spaces, and a wide range of shades
create visual interest when building with light, such as a blue, green, or gray exterior.

Applications:
This system can be installed in applications such as homes, offices, commercial premises, restaurants, buildings, hospitals, banks, shops, supermarkets, etc.

Lacquered or anodized aluminum profiles with shades to choose from:
Natural – Moss Bronze – Black
Other finishes available on request
Zócalo Facade typical designs:
There are typical designs for the system, such as those indicated below
Charaterictics:
-Provides a lot of stability since a significant part of the glass will be inside your chamber.
-Being on the floor without lights between the aluminum and glass (Fixed applications) does not allow unwanted residues or insects to enter the place.
-Works in a fixed/ casement way.
-Combination of aluminum and glass finishes.
-Allows thicknesses 10mm to 12mm.
In addition, the socket is the only system that has the versatility to modify its opening, varying some of its components, which is why it can be converted into:
-Glass system, applicable in perimeter use to provide greater fixation.
-Casement system.
For fixed and hinged applications, it can be combined with accessories from other lines, allowing only the plinth to be used in the lower or upper position.
In addition, it has a safety mechanism installed in the upper pivot of the door which, in case the glass breaks, holds the upper aluminum piece preventing it from falling to the floor or onto people. If this happens, the entire door must be replaced.
Restrictions:
For proper operation, a series of restrictions must be respected, which are tabulated according to their application.
Fixed Zocalo:
– Maximum total height 3.40m using windbreaks.
– In heights higher than 2.40m, place an intermediate accessory.
– Maximum width per panel 1.70m.
– In lengths greater than 8.00m, use laminated buttresses.
Folding Zocalo:
– Maximum total height 3.40m using loader and windbreak.
– Maximum height per door 2.60m.
– Maximum width per door 1.00m
– Maximum width per panel 1.70m.

ZOCALO PLUS FACADE SYSTEM
Simplicity and Efficiency
The skirting system is an innovative solution for large internal and external facades with casement openings.
It consists of the implementation of aluminum sections covered with longitudinal covers for the fixed glasses both in the lower and upper part, while the doors are complete sections for a better performance of the system.

The modality of longitudinal covers allows to have different shapes:
– Curved Lid – Semi-curved Lid – Straight Lid
For this same reason, the system is two-tone, that is, placed an internal cover of one finish and an external cover of another finish.
The aesthetics of the covers can also be combined, as long as the same cover is kept at the bottom (both sides) and another at the top (both sides).
Zócalo Plus Facade typical designs:
The system is very flexible and versatile, it adapts to any hinged door facade and fixed glass.

-It provides a lot of stability since a significant part of the glass will be inside its chamber.
-As it is on the floor with no lights between the aluminum and glass (fixed applications), it does not allow garbage or insects to enter the place.
-It works in a fixed, folding way.
-Combination of aluminum and glass finishes.
-Allows thicknesses:
- Fuertex 10 mm – 12 mm
- Vilax 66.1 – 66.4
Restrictions:
For proper operation, a series of restrictions must be respected, which are tabulated according to their application
Minimum and a maximum dimensions of casement door:
• Minimum width of 1000mm.
•Maximum width 1400mm.
•Minimum height 2100mm.
•Maximum height 3000mm.
Minimum and maximum dimensions of fixed glass:
– Minimum width 1000mm.
•Maximum width 2000mm.
-Minimum height 2100mm.
-Maximum height 3000mm.
