Quality at Extralum is fundamental and we have always strived to ensure that our products have the best certifications; this shows our commitment to safety and excellence in each of its processes as a way of acting responsibly, by offering a safe and certified product, manufactured according to strict quality controls and guaranteeing its performance while safeguarding the integrity of the users.

OUR CERTIFICATIONS

In Extralum we have different product certifications, some of them are provided by international suppliers such as Saint Gobain y Pilkintong.

We have a product certification called “Marca de Conformidad” (Conformity Mark), granted by the Instituto de Normas Técnicas de Costa Rica (INTECO).

This certification incorporates VILAX laminated glass, tempered glass, FUERTEXFUERTEX and bullet-resistant glass VILAX.

Additionally, we have the ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management System certification, which details that our facilities comply with energy consumption requirements, analyze their uses and improve energy efficiency to carry out production processes and support services performed in our facilities, located in Cartago (extrusion and finishing of aluminum profiles), Heredia (transformation of flat glass, tempered glass, laminated glass and DVH) and Grecia (manufacturing of glass and aluminum doors and windows).
