Extralum has a strong track record of over 30 years on the market. The company is currently one of Central America’s benchmarks in the extrusion of aluminum profiles for construction, architecture, industry, and transport.

Present at a commercial level, in three countries and one production facility in Costa Rica, we have the capacity, knowledge, and experience necessary to respond to the most demanding projects in fabricating custom aluminum profiles.

We know products need to be more durable each time. For that reason, we offer technical advisory on the integral development of the product: bringing value from the design profile and suitable selection for the alloys to the delivery of the finished piece.

We dispose of one facility, in which there are different production lines, from the design, the extrusion, the anodizing, and the painting.

Extruded aluminum is fundamentally used in architecture; Windows and doors, structures, curtain walls, lattices, etc. However, it is also applied to a great variety of industries; Furniture, heat sinks, aircraft, vehicles, and rail fuselages.

The elaboration and production process start at the design table. It is there that extrusion takes shape and various functionalities are incorporated for a better assemblance, and a reduction of work time involving assembly and finishing work.

To achieve the design and certain specifications in aluminum profiling, it is important to know and consider all basic design concepts. A creative extrusion design with incorporated functions simplifies the next stage and reduces costs considerably.
